The Nadira Collection presents Visions Charity

fashionable Black Tie Gala to support Prevent Blindness

Cleveland, OH – Cleveland knitwear designer Stephanie Morris-Nunn, the vision behind The Nadira Collection, brings a night of fashion in a sophisticated environment to the Hyatt Regency At The Arcade on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at 4:30 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds from the gala will support Prevent Blindness – Northeast Ohio Chapter, a member of the national Prevent Blindness. The Northeast Ohio Chapter was formed in 1993 and provides programs and services reaching virtually every northeast Ohioan with vision screenings, eye health and safety programs, advocacy efforts and programs that assist the medically indigent.

The work of Prevent Blindness is close to the heart of Nunn, who is an award-winning Knitwear Designer born with macular degeneration, a progressive eye disease, as well as high myopia degeneration. As a child, the macular degeneration diagnosed was coupled with a prognosis of blindness by age 6. Nunn has persevered and overcome that early prognosis to create intricate and beautiful knitwear that is the envy of sighted artists.

The gala will feature Nunn’s collection as well as designer presentations by Percy G. Derrick Wilson, Bohanan & Co., Ashley Monique and The Xalter Zaughn Collection. Award-winning model Nissay Harris will serve as hostess for the evening. The evening will also include special performances by The Greene Works Project and Humbly Submitted.

The Collections will be showcased by IShyne Modeling, Skip Thomas Productions, Positive Plus and Fosters Property Management, LLC.

Admission to the gala is $35 for general admission; $52 for VIP tickets, which include valet parking and a private reception; and reserved runway seating is $45.
